My name is Vanessa K. Lee and welcome to my Education Portfolio.  I was born in Kowloon, Hong Kong and went to school there until second grade.  When I was seven, my family decided to move to Arcadia, California and I've lived there ever since. I graduated from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota on May 2007 with a major in Mathematics and a concentration in China Studies.  Currently, I am working towards my teaching license in secondary mathematics, and I hope to teach middle or high school math in the future.  In the fall of 2007, I will be student

teaching at Hong Kong International School. 

I love outdoor activities and sports, especially swimming, running, and rollerblading.  I also love sports like rockclimbing and snowboarding.  One of my favorite things to do in my spare time is going to used bookstores and read anything I can get my hands on. I am also a big fan of good music and I play the alto saxophone when I have time.
